Manual flush bolt<\/h3>\n

Both release and bolting of the passive door leaf is made manually. All our manual flush bolts is operated by a lever-mechanism.<\/p>\n

Automatic flush bolt<\/h3>\n

Release of passive door leaf is done automatically, when the active door leaf is opened, and the falling latch is released. Bolting is obtained automatically when active door leaf closes, when the falling latch is pushed in and thereby activates the bolt. Automatic flush bolts is often recommended where fire-proof demands exists.<\/p>\n

Semi-automatic flush bolt<\/h3>\n

Release of passive door leaf is done manually. Bolting is obtained automatically when passive door leaf closes. The bolt is constantly activated, which means that this flush bolt can usually only be fitted at the top of the passive door leaf. Recommended as a complementary product where an automatic flush bolt is installed at the bottom of the passive door leaf. This installation results in an easy made manual releasing sequence and a secure bolting sequence in two steps, which also contributes to a smoother closing of the door-set.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

How to choose the right type of flush bolt?<\/h3>\n

It is always the passive door leaf that is bolted by a flush bolt. The active door leaf is used in regular passage and is closed by a handle and perhaps locked against the (closed) passive door leaf.<\/p>\n

For automatic flush bolts, consideration must be taken if it is the left or the right door leaf that is passive, and if fitting will be made up or down. Hence the need to specify OLDA flush bolts as “type 1” or “type 2”.<\/p>\n

Note. a manual flush bolt has no “type” – it can be fitted in any position.<\/em><\/p>\n

Non-spring-loaded or spring-loaded function on the automatic bolt?<\/h3>\n

In many door environments, a non-spring-loaded function is desired on the automatic bolt. This is to ensure that the door is fully bolted, for example with regards to fire safety aspects.<\/p>\n

But in some cases a spring-loaded function is desired instead. This is often requested when the keeper of the door, aim for that the frame or door leaf will not be damaged – if the bolt in any way is obstructed from reaching its activated position, e.g. by a blocked lock plate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Accessories<\/h3>\n

For the respective product, should the recommended accessories and screws we have assigned, be used to largest possible extent. This is to ensure safe function and long durability for the product. For flush bolts, this could be for example lock plates, strike plates and guide tubes.When installation is made in another door environment than the intended, could alternative accessories be necessary. Also the choice of fastening, e.g. the type of screw, should obviously also be adapted according to material etc.<\/p>\n

In many cases can different accessories also enhance the look or optimize the function further, i.e. by a well designed, dust-excluding floor socket – which prevents gravel and dirt from blocking the hole for the bolt in floor or sill.<\/p>\n
